New Offering: Reiki Healing

At the end of 2024, I took a Reiki training, a step I never expected but deeply embraced. My healing journey has taken me in directions I never could have predicted. A year ago, I thought I would be pursuing trauma-informed yoga, but as I continued down this path, I became Yin certified and immersed myself in the study of energy centers, meridian lines, and their connection to our well-being.

Through this exploration, I began deep-diving into Chinese medicine and ancient healing practices. Then, in October 2024, something incredible happened—three different people in one week, including my Western primary care doctor, suggested I look into becoming a Reiki practitioner. I believe in signs and listening to the universe, so I followed that guidance.

I found a Reiki Master who provided my attunement and mentorship, and now I’m excited to share this gentle, powerful energy work with others. Reiki is something I had only briefly encountered in hospital settings, but now I truly understand its potential for healing, balance, and deep relaxation.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It works by channeling universal life force energy to support the body's natural ability to restore balance.

Reiki is administered by laying hands on a person or hovering just above specific energy centers. It can also be performed as a distance healing practice, allowing energy to flow beyond physical presence. Reiki helps to release energetic blockages, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being.

Many people experience a deep sense of calm, warmth, and clarity during a session, making it a powerful complement to other healing modalities. Whether you are seeking emotional balance, physical relaxation, or energetic alignment, Reiki offers a gentle yet profound way to support your journey.

In Person at soul stretch yoga studio. *mondays only *

Reiki session $100 (75 min, 60 min will be the Reiki session followed by, 15 min at the end to discuss anything that may come up.)

Please arrive a few min early, wear comfortable clothes. During the hour expect quietness, focusing on your breath, listening to soft music, and allowing the healing energy of reiki to flow through you.

Personalized Yin Yoga session with Reiki

*to book you must first be seen for a regular 1hr reiki session *

Reiki session with Yin Yoga infusion $200 (75 min, 60 min will be yin yoga with reiki with the last 15 min to discuss anything that may have come up.)

Please arrive a few minutes early, wear comfortable clothes. During the hour expect quietness, focusing on your breath, listening to soft music, allowing the healing energy of Reiki to flow through you. Gentle positioning techniques may be used to help release energetic blockages, creating the ultimate experience in deep healing and restoration.

Traveling to you at home or in a hospital/long term care setting

1 hr Reiki session $100 + addt’l fees see below:

-Travel $50 (locally up to 45min away will travel further for addt’l fees)

-Hospital/Long term care facilities addt’l fees may apply on a case by case basis, please email and reach out. If patient is in isolation for anything, extra fees do apply of $50 (addt’l to travel fees.)

* Note that if they are on airborne precautions for illnesses ie: tuberculosis. I will not be entering the room. I can schedule a long distance session please reach out for options.

• Before the session it is important to up your water intake. Come with an open heart and a receptive mindset, ready to embrace the energy for your greatest well-being.

• Wear comfortable/non restricting clothing. You’ll start by getting comfortable on a massage table with a heating pad/blanket option for your comfort.

• Reiki session lasts about an hour with 15 min at the end for discussion to share only what you may feel comfortable sharing.

• During the session I will hold my hands over your body, this may be a few inches above or touching (only done so at your comfort), in different hand positions/places that allow the reiki energy to flow where it is needed most.

• During the session you may feel warmth, tingling, calming, and deeply relaxed. There is no right or wrong thing to feel during, each experience is totally different.

• At the end we will discuss what was felt in your energy field. Make sure to continue to drink plenty of water, upping your intake of nutritious foods, and focusing on self care can help you feel the full benefits of the treatment. Know that for some it can take up to 72 hours to feel the full effects from a reiki session.
